I received a call from a guy who lost his wedding band at a camp by the Redfield reservoir. He was swimming around and had lost weight recently. So what happened? His ring fell off in a area about 100 foot square. After doing an underwater search for about an hour and 45 minutes. I […]
Lost rings in Antwerp found (2020)
I was called by a 13 year old girl who lost her rings while walking her dog. She had only received them a few weeks earlier as a test by her mother to see if she could be responsible. She lost them in her yard and just couldn’t find them on her own. She finally […]

I highly recommend Penny at theringfinders.com. (2020)
I was on a family vacation up in Redfield NY on the Salmon Reservoir. We were out enjoying the floating dock, jumping in and swimming around. When I realized my wedding ring was missing. It was an instant bummer to a great vacation.
The next morning my wife told me she had found a service called theringfinders.com. Penny Schutts was located in Watertown and she was scuba certified! So my wife called and Penny said she could be down in the afternoon.
When Penny arrived, her husband and her asked a few questions on how far out we had been swimming and what did the ring look like. Then they suited up and started working a grid in and around the floating dock. Her husband was making a pass just off the shoreline where it takes a step down, and he found it!
It was partially covered by a rock and he had seen just a portion of the band.
I can’t put into words how awesome it was when they found the ring. It was something 12 hours earlier I thought was gone forever. I highly recommend Penny at theringfinders.com.
Thank you Penny!!

I found The Ring Finders on line and called... (2020)
I love turtles. I bought a silver ring with turtles etched on it. I had to go out and shovel the walk before work. I had my gloves on but took them off before getting in my car. That’s when I noticed my ring wasn’t on any longer. I had to go to work and didn’t have time to look for it at the time. When I got home from work, it was starting to get dark. I looked for it for about 30 minutes. Then it got so dark I couldn’t see anymore. I found The Ring Finders on line and called. I made arrangements to meet Penny in a couple of days. I showed her where I had shoveled. It took her about an hour, but she finally found it. I will be more careful taking off my gloves from now on.
