Mark Spence's Bio
I have been metal detecting now for 10 plus years. Love the thrill of finding and saving pieces of history for others to see wether its revolutionary war, civil war or early homesteads. My collection is priceless to me each find has its own tie back to a piece of forgotten history. I enjoy showing my collection to the public especially at my kids schools. It really brings history to life for the kids letting them hold and touch a relic from long ago really stirs their interest. Other than searching for relics I also enjoy the satisfaction of recovering items for people that otherwise would have lost something they treasure that can not be replaced, that is usually a reward in itself.

Mark Spence - Testimonials
I would HIGHLY recommend Mark (2019)
From the moment I texted Mark, he was honest, trustworthy and kind. He quickly scheduled a time to come over and help locate my lost wedding ring. I was nervous it was impossible but Mark assured me he would be able to find it as long as I had a general vicinity that I had lost it in. Once Mark showed up he introduced himself and went over the process and got started. He searched the first area I thought it might be in for a little over an hour. Being pretty confident it wasn't there we moved to the next area, a huge leaf pile we had moved two days earlier. In less than 5 minutes in the new area Mark had found my wedding ring. I can't tell you how much of a relief this was. My wife is ecstatic and so am I. I would HIGHLY recommend Mark. Not only because of the outcome but equally because of his character. Mark is genuine, a local business owner, and a man of his word. I would work with Mark again and will recommend him to everyone I know. My family and I are very grateful for Mark's help and service. Thank you Mark!
Mark was so pleasant to work with and so efficient – I just can’t say enough. (2017)
I can breathe again. This being our 50thwedding anniversary year all things related to our years together are precious to us. Having lost my ring while mowing the grass seemed like such a simple thing that should be easy to remedy with a quick search. That quick search ran into 3 hours with at least 8 friends and neighbors helping and plenty of rakes and blowers with no luck. We hand checked every bag of leaves and grass twice and had many eyes look over every inch of the area where it came off – nothing.
A friend had used Mark in the past. He rearranged his schedule, so he could get to us the same day we called and was able to find the ring within 30 minutes – buried sideways into the soft ground. I can breathe again. Mark was so pleasant to work with and so efficient – I just can’t say enough. Highly recommend him. I’d also recommend you call early in your search it will eliminate a lot of worry and upset .
