David Biron's Bio
Graduated from US Navy Diving and Salvage training for Officers. Upon leaving the Navy I worked as Merchant Marriner / Unlimited Ship captain. During this time I also became a competitive freedive spearfisher and won many tournaments including a World Record Red Snapper (30+lb) that held for over 10 yr. I have logged countless hours exploring Marine ecosystems in the Atlantic and Pacific , and have participated and planned numerous salvage operations.
After changing to a plant based diet, I gave up spearfishing and took up Metal Detecting. I have been detecting for over 10 yrs now and am very proficient in the use of my equipment. Success will most likely be contingent upon location details where & when the object was lost.
Tips : If in the water, try to find an object on the shore that is directly in front of you where you are standing ... then locate another either to your right , or left, that would intersect at a Rt angle. If that is not possible , try and notice the depth of water (waist, chest,) and the time of day , you believe the item was lost. The time is an important clue for tidal conditions which in turn effect depth. if you can , have a friend with a smart phone drop a pin on google maps while you stand where you think the object was lost. The more information that you can provide, the faster I will be able to reunite you with your lost item.
