Cost For My Service

I work on a ''Reward Basis'' you pay what it's worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item. I have a call-out fee of $35.00 if the item is not found, this covers my fuel expenses. (Maybe more or less depending on where you are located)

Search Types

Personal yards, dog parks, recreation fields, camping sites, trails or paths, beaches, and woods. Even underwater to five feet. Any Alaskan season too, including snow-covered sledding and ski hills that swallow up our valuables. I have metal detectors and tools for just about every situation.

With 40 years of metal detecting experience, I am one of the most professional and thorough metal detectorists you'll ever meet. In my long career as an trained archaeologist I used metal detectors to map and excavate thousands of artifacts from shipwrecks to battlefields to old homesteads. These were recovered with care, and so will your lost item.

I treat our search just like a crime scene or archaeological site, meaning if you have a good sense of where you dropped your item, I will diligently locate every single piece of metal in that area. This is one of the best methods for locating rings, cell phones, and other cherished items. It's a process of elimination and hard work.

I encourage clients to document where they lost their items with flagging, ground marks, sticks, or anything similar to help narrow the search area down. Photographs of the loss area can help as well. If it's in a high-traffic public area, please call promptly to get me on the recovery mission as quickly as possible. If you lost something on your property years ago, I can search for those older things too. These tips increase our chance for a successful recovery. I'm here to help and love what I do.
