It’s been a while since i’ve posted. Working evening shifts and having no searches in the last months, until last week on the 12th of May. Nemo was enjoying the beautiful day to do yard work on the 6th of May, he went to the garden to shake some trees to rid of dead leaves and needles. While going from tree to tree he noticed at the end he had lost his ring, he frantically searched but to know avail. While doing some searching on google he came across the ring finders and my blog, a phone call was made and an appointment was made. I searched the compost area where leaves and debris from the yard cleaning were thrown into some bushes. Nothing was found. I continued my search along the wall of the house where weeds were pulled and then made my way towards the trees which were shook. Going from tree to tree (around 6 in total), nothing beeped, I noticed I was on the wrong program, I immediately changed it, went to my first tree, and there it was that familiar ring tone in my ears, bent down pinpointed it and there she was that glimmer of gold. Nemo and Sarah were extremely happy, and so was I. If you know of anyone who lost a ring, bracelet, chain, give me a call The Ring Finder is there and will help you fing whatever that was lost. Il a déjà un moment que j’ai publié sur mon blogue du au fait que je n’ai pas des heures régulières à mon travail en plus du manque de demande de recherches dans les derniers mois. Ma dernière demande est venue le 6 mai dernier de la part de Nemo qui a profité de la belle journée pour faire du jardinage. C’est en secouant des arbres pour débarrasser des feuilles mortes et les aiguilles qu’il aurait perdu sa bague. Désespéré, il a cherché mais sans succès. En effectuant quelques recherches sur google, il est tombé sur mon blogue. Un appel et le rendez-vous était fixé. J’ai cherché là où les feuilles et les débris avaient été jetés. Sans succès. J’ai continué mes recherches le long du mur de la maison où les mauvaix herbes ont été retirés du sol, puis je me suis dirigé vers les arbres en question. En effectuant ma recherche, j’ai remarqué que j’étais sur le mauvais programme. Une fois le bon programme entré, je suis allé à mon premier arbre, et c’est là que la sonnerie familiere à mes oreilles se fut entendre. En me penchant, je me suis apperçu de la lueur d’or. Nemo et Sarah étaient très heureux et soulagés.

On the 22nd of December, something happened to Ari. While removing pet hair from the back seat of his car, his titanium wedding band flew off his finger right into the snow. Frantically, he had 3 pairs of eyes searching for ring in the snow. Knowing he had to leave to drive his neighbor to the airport, he returned home and searched for it again but to no avail. He went online and did a search, and found me. He saw my blog and The Ring Finders website. That afternoon he sent me an email, I replied to him later in the afternoon. Later, I received a phone call from him and I took time off from my Christmas Holidays to help him out. We scheduled the 26th of december to search for his ring. On sunday afternoon I arrived at his home, spoke with Ari and he showede me where he had lost his ring. I pulled out my partner my wonderful White’s XLT and began my grid work. The area I searched was a 6 x 12 area. I noticed there was alot of interference in the ground (Water mains, electrical, and also cable too), I searched outside my grid area and right beside the paved parking a few inches from the edge I got a good strong signal. The White’s read a ring and I pinpointed it. It showed me a depth of 0.0 inches. I Pulled out my digger and slowly and carefully, removed the snow and ice from the area. There standing on end was a beautiful shining titanium band. It took me about 3 minutes to find it. I was happy, to give him a great Chritmas gift, by returning his lost ring. I love what I do ! Le 22 Décembre, quelque chose est arrivée a Ari. En enlevant les poils d’animaux sur le siège arrière de sa voiture, son alliance en titane s’est envolé du doigt dans la neige. Frénétiquement, il a eu 3 paires d’yeux pour chercher l’anneau dans la neige. Sachant qu’il a dû quitter pour aller reconduire son voisin a l’aéroport, de retour chez lui il recherche de nouveau , mais en vain. Il est allé sur l’internet et a fait une recherche, et il m’a trouvé. Il a vu mon blog et le site Web The Ring Finders. Cet après-midi, il m’a envoyé un courriel, je lui répondu plus tard dans l’après-midi. Plus tard, j’ai reçu un appel téléphonique de lui et je pris congé de mes vacances de Noël pour lui venir en aide. Nous avons prévu le 26 décembre pour la recherche de son anneau. Le dimanche après-midi je suis arrivé chez lui, parlé avec Ari et il m’a montré où il avait perdu sa bague. J’ai sorti mon partenaire mon White’s XLT et a commencé mon travail de la grille de fouille. La région que j’ai fouillé est un domaine de 6 x 12. J’ai remarqué qu’il y avait beaucoup d’interférences dans le sol (conduites d’eau, d’électricité, et également un câble de trop), j’ai cherché en dehors de ma zone de la grille de fouille et juste à côté du stationnement pavé à quelques centimètres du bord, j’ai reçu un bon signal fort. Mon XLT a lu une bague. Il m’a montré une profondeur de 0,0 pouces. J’ai sorti ma pelle et lentement et avec précaution, retiré la neige et la glace de la région. Là, une belle bande de titane brillant. Il m’a fallu environ 3 minutes pour le trouver. J’ai été heureux, lui donner un beau cadeau pour Noël, en retournant sa bague perdue. J’aime ce que je fais! First of all, I would like to thank Chris at The Ring Finders for for starting an extraordinary team. I have always loved helping people. When I found The Ring Finders online I realized that I was going to be able to put my favorite hobby of metal detecting to use by helping people find their lost items. This was a dream come true ! I said to myself, this is where I need to be and want to do ! The first thing I did was get the information from Chris, join the Ring Finders and became a member. I started giving myself at 110% by going out there and offering my services. Chris gave me tools and advice on how to get started. I followed everything he thought me. Well, it paid off ! For my first year I became the finder of the year and won a 48” long handle scoop from Nuttal Enterprises !! This wonderful gift will come in handy when searching for rings. Hello Everyone,
This is a late entry for a ring search I did in July. My laptop hard drive crashed, and was not able to retrieve the information until today, thank you Nadine for helping me. Here is the story..on July the 18th Caprice and her family had bought a cottage in Val des Bois, Quebec. During their very first weekend at cottage, the sun was hot, the family decided to go in the water to freshen up, then the unexpected happened, Caprice wearing a chain around her neck wearing her engagement ring and her late husbands wedding band both fell into the bottom of the lake.
Frantically the family searched the lake bottom to look for the rings. The rings were not found. That night everyone was down but especially Caprice. Tova, Caprice sister in law did the first thing a person would do and looked for help. Help wasn’t that far Stephane from the Ring Finders was there. The family found me on the web and on Monday July 19th the family contacted me asked if I can help them,I replied yes right away. The family was in good hands. We scheduled the next day to do the ring search. Arriving at the cottage on the 20th of July we met up and headed to the waters edge, going down a steep embankment, I was careful not to fall down. The rings had fallen into about 3 feet of water right beside a huge boulder. I walked into the water and started my seach right away. Tova and her family pointed to almost the exact spot where the rings were lost, a few seconds later, I got a hit in my headphones and scooped the bottom of the lake, clearing away weeds and pebbles, there at the bottom of my scoop lay both of the rings. My work was done, the family was extremely happy, tears in their eyes, and my heart beated out of my chest. I knew these rings were extremely important. I knew there was a beautiful story attached to the rings and that story ended when they thought the rings were lost forever….well that story will continue now that Caprice is now cherishing the rings. Il s’agit d’une entrée tardive pour une recherche de bague que j’ai fait en Juillet. Mon disque dur de portable a planté, et n’a pas été en mesure de récupérer les informations jusqu’à aujourd’hui, je remercie Nadine de m’avoir aidé. Voici l’histoire … le 18 Juillet Caprice et sa famille ont acheté un chalet à Val-des-Bois, Québec. Au cours de leur premier week-end au chalet, le soleil était chaud, la famille a décidé d’aller dans l’eau pour se rafraîchir, puis de l’imprévu, Caprice a perdu une chaîne autour de son cou avec sa bague de fiançailles et l’anneau de marriage de sont mari décedé il y a quelque mois tombé dans le fond du lac.
Frénétiquement la famille a cherché le fond du lac pourtrouvé les anneaux. Les anneaux sont introuvables. Cette nuit tout le monde diminué, mais surtout Caprice. Tova, la belle-soeur Caprice a fait la première chose que ferait une personne et a cherché de l’aide. Aide n’étais pas si loin la Stephane de Les Ring Finders était là. La famille m’a trouvé sur le web et le lundi le 19 Juillet la famille m’a demandé si je peux les aider, j’ai répondu oui tout de suite. La famille était entre bonnes mains. Nous avons prévu le lendemain pour faire la recherche anneau. En arrivant au chalet le 20 Juillet, nous avons discuter et apres marcher vers le bord de l’eau, en descendant une pente abrupte, je faisais attention à ne pas tomber. Les anneaux étaient tombés dans environ 3 pieds d’eau juste à côté d’un énorme rocher. Je suis entré dans l’eau et commencé mes recherches tout de suite. Tova et sa famille apointé près l’endroit exact où les anneaux ont été perdus, quelques secondes plus tard, sa sonné dans mon casque et j’ai enfoncer mon scoop dans le fond du lac. Apres avoir enlever herbes et de cailloux, et la au fond de mon scoop les deux anneaux. Mon travail a été effectué, la famille a été très heureux, les larmes aux yeux, et mon cœur a battu de ma poitrine. Je savais que ces anneaux étaient extrêmement importants. Je savais qu’il y avait une belle histoire attachée aux bagues et que l’histoire a pris fin lorsque ils pensaient que les anneaux ont été perdus à jamais …. ainsi que l’histoire se poursuivra maintenant que Caprice a les anneaux. Je tiens à dire merci à Tova, Caprice, et sa famille pour m’avoir fait confiance pour trouver les anneaux. Passez une belle journée à tous et merci d’avoir lu mon post. Today was a cold day, it snowed last night and the plows were clearing the snow off the roads and salting them too. On Thursday the 28th of October, it was a beautiful day to rake the leaves in the front yard. Yes it happened the ring came of the finger and went into one of the four bags. On saturday Jean Marc called me and needed my services. He wasnt sure how it worked so I offered to search for free. He agreed right away. This morning I went to search the area. I started the grid work in the front yard, and finally finished with the bags. Yes it happened again..I found the ring in the last bag. His face lit up was extremely happy I had found the ring. first he thanked me and put his ring in his wallet to have it downsized, then he gave me a huge bear hug. I wasnt cold anymore but felt warm inside after returning the ring. Seeing someone happy and making their day feels good. I love this hobby and being part of The Ring Finders. Aujourd’hui était une journee froide, il a neigé la nuit dernière et les charrues ont été sur les routes. Le jeudi le 28 Octobre, c’était une belle journée pour ratisser les feuilles dans la cour avant. Oui c’est arrivé l’anneau du doigt esttomber dans l’une des quatre sacs. Le samedi Jean Marc m’a appelé et avait besoin de mes services. Il nétait pas sûr de savoir comment ceci fonctionnait alors j’ai offert de chercher gratuitement. Il a accepté tout de suite. Ce matin je suis allé à la recherche de la bague. J’ai commencé par la cour avant, et enfin fini avec les sacs. Oui c’est arrivé à nouveau .. j’ai trouvé la bague dans le dernier sac. Son visage s’éclaira a été extrêmement heureux que j’avais trouvé la bague. d’abord, il m’a remercié et mis sa bague dans son portefeuille pour le faire réduire, puis il m’a donné une étreinte d’ours énorme. Je n’étais plus froid mais chaud à l’intérieur après avoir trouver la bague. Voir quelqu’un heureux et de faire leur journéeca fait du bien. J’aime ce passe-temps, et faire partie des Ring Finders. Ottawa wedding ring found /Ottawa bague de marriage trouvé

The past 2 weeks have been quiete busy, and like I mentionned in my previous posting it is the season to pick up the leaves, and yes the snow is coming. On October the 27th Michael did just that, picking up the leaves and getting ready to put them at the curb, Micheal kept the bags…yes you guessed it, he lost his wedding ring in one of the 4 bags. Micheal found my services on Kijiji and contacted me. The next there I was to search for the ring. I decided to check the yard first and then proceed to check the bags, one by one I emptied them and scanned the ground. I dont know why this happens but you always find something in the last bag, or box, or dresser drawer. Well, the ring was found in the last bag. Karen, her wife was extremely happy to have this beautiful and unique ring found. Pictured with the ring is Karen, Micheals was absent during the search. I am happy that the story attached to the ring will continue on. Have a great day everyone.

Les 2 dernières semaines ont été occupées , et comme je l’ai mentionné dans mon message précédent, c’est la saison pour ramasser les feuilles, et oui la neige est à venir. Le 27 Octobre Michael a fait exactement cela, ramasser les feuilles et mettre les sacs sur le bord du trottoir, Michael a gardé les sacs … oui vous l’aurez deviné, il a perdu son anneau de mariage dans l’une des 4 sacs. Michael trouvé mes services sur Kijiji et m’a contacté. La journee d apres j’étais là pour chercher l’anneau. J’ai décidé de vérifier en premier la cour, puis procéder à la vérification des sacs, un par un. Je ne sais pas pourquoi cela se produit, mais vous trouverez toujours quelque chose dans le dernier sac, ou une boîte, ou tiroir de la commode. Eh bien, l’anneau a été trouvé dans le dernier sac. Karen, sa femme a été très heureux d’avoir cette bague belle et unique. Sur la photo, Karen. Micheal était absent lors de la recherche. Je suis heureux que l’histoire de la bague se poursuivra.
