Annapolis Valley and surrounding areas. The farther away from Wolfville means more of a time challenge for me but hopefully we can figure out a plan for your recovery as I do travel to the HRM and the south shore occasionally.

Search Types

Will search on land and in water to a depth of 3 feet and in the snow, whether in a park at the beach or private property. This is 4 season detecting service because ring loss can happen in any season.

Whether your loss is expensive or of priceless sentimental value, from jewelry to keys, and even property line survey stakes.

Cost For My Service

I work on a reward fee basis of the value that you think my services are worth in the recovery of your item. I have a $25 initial fee that is charged to cover expenses if item is not recovered. This fee is subject to distance traveled as I am covering a large territory.

Donald Cooper's Bio

Just a few years after I was married I lost my gold wedding ring while spreading straw in the strawberry patch. I was very upset and borrowed my cousins toy metal detector. I still was unable to find the ring using the toy detector. Every night after work I would search the strawberry patch then after about 2 weeks searching I found it using my eyes. I still remember the sick feeling that I had for those 2 weeks and the thrill of finding the ring. That toy metal detector did not work but now I have a detector that just recovered a mans gold wedding band that was 13 cm (5 inches) deep in the ground.

I am a long time want to be treasure hunter that has just recently taken up the hobby and enjoy helping people. Last summer my 85 year old father had a new roof put on and when the workmen were finished they used a large bar magnet on wheels to pick up nails off of the unpaved driveway and lawn. I suggested that I check the grass driveway for nails and Dad said it was unnecessary because of the magnet. This was the first time that his roof had been replaced and we ended up with multiple hand fulls of roofing nails, so many in fact that we had to get a bag. Dad was impressed with the metal detector and so was I, as it probably saved someone from getting a flat tire.

Besides nails, coins are what I find most of the time when detecting.

Please do not hesitate to give me a call or email me to discus your recovery needs.
