The main city of st.johns is about 80 klms from me, but I will travel anywhere to help you, Please feel free to phone me or email me, I will get back to you as soon as possible, but always the same day,
- Search Types
I will search basically any ground, backyards, beaches, parks, camp grounds, gardens, can search around 1 to 2 feet of water,
rings, coins, jewelry lost, water cocks.
- Cost For My Service
Cost of service is on a reward basis if i find your lost jewelry, there has to be a 20 cents a klm charge both ways, just to cover my gas, whether i find your lost jewelry or not, We can always work something out, as people in newfoundland and labrador know, all fishing communities are very rural.

My name is Dave Pollard, I am from cumbria england, I have been in canada just 6 years, lived in toronto for 2 years before coming to newfoundland and labrador, I live in st.josephs salmonier, I am a watchmaker, I specialise in pocketwatches, I only work as a watchmaker part-time now, this is why i joined ring finders,
Ring finders will always come first, I will travel anywhere to help you, I wish i did not have to charge for gas, but i have to, but i will always work something out with you, I work on a reward basis, if i do not find your lost jewelry, there is no reward, just the price of gas for the klms both ways, again we can work something out,
In the spring and summer, I usually look for interesting places with my boat, newfoundland and labrador has lots of history with early settlers and of course the pirates that visited here,
I have helped people find rings, their water cocks, and lost parts of their boats when they were servicing them, on land for the winter,
My best find in newfoundland was a complete set of pewter, irish or english, it was up against the bottom of cliffs in the sand, off a ship wreck,
To keep the newfoundland and labrador government happy, I have sent in a registration form in with the natural resources mines and land branch, I did not have to do this, but i wanted everything to be legal and keep everybody happy, plus if i ever find a gold vein, I can place a claim on the plot,
